Impostor Syndrome Is $hit...

I cannot begin to tell you how many times a week (read: day) I still struggle with impostor syndrome. No matter how many companies I start, how many degrees or certificates I hold, or how many times I beat my kids at Checkers (what?!), I still have to deal with this little voice in my head that wants to know, "just who the hell do you think you are?!" Can you relate? One of my favorite tools for ridding the mind of this pesky, little mistress of self-doubt is the release, I now release my fear of being condemned for being wrong, or my fear of failing. Try it now...

My experience as a woman leader is that I often hold myself to unrealistic expectations of what I need to be, to know, to have achieved before I can celebrate myself and appreciate my accumulated knowledge. In my upcoming book, #enlightenedAF, due out in 2020 I talk about how I have used this release and other great Enneagram tools to move out of fear and self-doubt into action.

Practice this release as many times a day as you need to. If you are feeling truly radical, try saying it in front of the mirror (special points for forgiving yourself for all the ways you have held yourself back).

I see you,

xx Lindsey
